General questions

As we will be celebrating our wedding abroad, we kindly wish to keep things simple for travel. Your presence is truly the greatest gift for us. However, should you wish to gift us something, a contribution in monitary form would be warmly appreciated. For those who prefer to give a physical gift, we would be greatful if it could be sent directly to our home address. We cannot wait to celebrate this special moment with you.

Our wedding celebrations will take place over two days, bringing together both Tunisian and German traditions that are close to our hearts.

On the first night, also known as the Outia, we invite you to experience a traditional Tunisian celebration at Palais Bayram, a beautifully restored historic palace dating back to the 18th century, located in the heart of the Medina of Tunis.

This night will be an authentic Tunisian experience, rich in culture and heritage. You can expect traditional Tunisian music, including malouf and mezoued—both iconic styles deeply rooted in Tunisian culture—alongside Tunisian delicacies, amuse-bouches, Arabic coffee and the scent of jasmine in the air.

On the second day, we will hold the official wedding ceremony, which will begin with the signing of the marriage contract, followed by a reception in a more modern setting. In the evening we will have a dinner with Tunisian food and celebrate with music and dancing.

We are truly excited to share these moments with you and to celebrate together across cultures.

The attire is formal or festive. You are welcome to wear traditional Tunisian clothes, traditional German attire, or a festive evening dress. If you would like to rent traditional Tunisian clothing, please let us know in advance. Short and sleeveless dresses are completely fine.

We suggest festive or formal attire. There is no strict dress code; the most important thing is that you feel comfortable.
